Frequently Asked Questions

Welcome to At Ease Massage. This is a private space for customized therapeutic massage, thoughtful recovery, and care built around you.

What kind of massage do you offer?

I provide customized therapeutic massage tailored to your goals, comfort level, and what your body needs that day. Your session may incorporate different techniques depending on what we discuss before treatment. You don't need to choose a specific type of massage when you book. Choose your session length, and we'll customize the treatment together.

What to Expect Before Your Session

We will begin with a brief intake and conversation about what brings you in, your current concerns, relevant health information, and what you would like to focus on. We'll then review the treatment setup and answer any questions you may have. Before treatment begins, I'll step out so you can undress to your comfort level and get comfortably settled under the professional draping.

What to Expect During Your Session

Each session is customized around your goals, areas of concern, and comfort level. We may begin with focused work on areas such as the back, shoulders, or hips and then move to other areas based on what we discuss before treatment. I'll check in throughout the session and adjust pressure, positioning, or technique as needed to keep you comfortable.

What should I wear (or not wear)?

Please wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable. Many clients choose to undress to their underwear for table work, while others prefer to remain in comfortable clothing such as loose athletic shorts and a T-shirt. You will always be securely covered with a professional clinical draping sheet, and only the specific muscle group being actively worked on will be uncovered.

How long does a session last?

At Ease Massage offers 60-, 90-, and 120-minute sessions. You choose the amount of time that works best for you, and each session is customized to your goals and needs.

What should I bring with me?

You do not need to bring anything with you. Fresh linens, massage lotion, and other essentials are provided. Just bring yourself and wear whatever makes you comfortable.

What about tipping?

At Ease Massage is a no-tipping practice. Your session price reflects the full value of the professional care provided, so tipping is neither expected nor accepted.

How can I give feedback?

Your feedback helps others discover At Ease Massage. If you enjoyed your experience, the most meaningful way to support my business is to leave an honest Google review describing your experience.

Can I take pics during my massage?

Yes, absolutely. If you would like to take photos or videos for your own reference, that's fine. If you need help setting up a tripod or adjusting the room lighting, I'm happy to help.

Can I talk
during the massage?

Absolutely. Some clients prefer to talk throughout the session, while others prefer quiet time to relax. Either is completely fine. The most important communication is letting me know how you're feeling and whether the pressure and treatment are comfortable.

What if something feels uncomfortable?

Please let me know immediately. Therapeutic massage should not require you to tolerate unnecessary pain. I can adjust pressure, positioning, technique, temperature, lighting, or music to help keep you comfortable.

Is there anything I should do after the massage?

Give yourself some time to ease back into your day. Gentle movement can feel good after a session, while intense exercise may be better saved for later depending on how you feel. Some people experience mild, temporary muscle soreness after therapeutic work. If you have concerns about how you feel after your session, please reach out.
